Intermediate Division
Intermediate 50/70 baseball is for players league age 12 to 13. Player assessment is required, players are selected to teams by a draft.
All players that sign up will be placed on a 50/70 or 60/90 team. Playing in the Intermediate 50/70 division will provide a great transition to the larger 60/90 Juniors field.
INTERMEDIATE (50/70) BASEBALL: Intermediate division players should demonstrate skill, leadership, and maturity while enhancing all skills, rules knowledge, and situational baseball play in a competitive environment. At this level, there may not be equal playing time; however, minimum play rules will be followed. A field with 50-foot pitching mount and 70-foot bases will be used. The teams will travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games. There will be an end-of-season tournament, and players will be eligible to try out for the NVLL Intermediate (50/70) All Star Tournament Team that will have the potential to compete at the Little League World Series.
PLAYER ASSESSMENT: Assessment is required. All players will be drafted onto a team. Assessments are used for coach evaluation and draft process. Teams are re-drafted annually. Intermediate 50/70 teams
will play interleague games with teams from other Little Leagues in the valley.
