Juniors Division

Juniors 60/90 baseball is for players league age 13 to 15 and is played on a full-sized field with 90 foot bases and a 60 foot mound (just like Major League Baseball).  Player assessment is required as players are selected to teams by a draft. 

JUNIORS BASEBALL:  Juniors division players should demonstrate skill, leadership, and maturity while enhancing all skills, rules knowledge, and situational baseball play in a competitive environment. At this level there may not be equal playing time; however, minimum play rules will be followed. A standard baseball field is used for the first time at this level, and the teams will travel throughout the Treasure Valley to play interleague games. There will be an end-of-season tournament, and players will be eligible to try out for the NVLL Juniors All-Star Tournament Team that can compete up to Nationals.

PLAYER ASSESSMENT:  Assessment is required. All players will be drafted onto a team. Assessments are used for coach evaluation and draft process. Teams are re-drafted annually.

REGULAR SEASON:  Wow! Now you are seeing some really awesome baseball. The kids are focused on the sport and the competition. This is baseball!!  Junior teams will play interleague games with teams from other Little Leagues in the valley.
